Membership
Members
Membership is open to policing experts nominated by Member States through their respective UN Missions.
Observers
Observer status may be granted to external organizations, such as INTERPOL and UNODC, upon request and approval by the Chair.
Participation
Members are expected to participate actively in discussions, initiatives, and meetings.
Responsibilities of Members
- Participate in discussions and working groups.
- Support the induction of newly arrived colleagues.
- Exchange best practices on crime-related matters, including transnational serious organized crime (TSOC).
- Contribute to addressing recruitment issues and potential solutions.
- Strengthen collaboration between SPAG and the UN Police Division.
Membership Enquiries
Membership is by Member State nomination. Sending an enquiry does not register or guarantee membership.
